eSoft Re-Introduces DNS Server SoftPak: Back by Popular Demand
DNS Server SoftPak enables ThreatWall and InstaGate to act as DNS server;
other product updates also announced
Broomfield, Colo. – July 7, 2009 –eSoft, Inc., a leading network security company that provides integrated Internet security solutions, today announced enhancements to its award-winning InstaGate and ThreatWall appliances. In addition, eSoft is bringing back its popular DNS Server SoftPak, due to overwhelming customer requests. The following is a list of the product enhancements included in this release: eSoft’s DNS Server SoftPak will be offered again, allowing customers to quickly and easily manage domains and their records with new advanced mode features. Remote syslogging capabilities, previously only available for the ThreatWall, are now available for the InstaGate. These capabilities are key for organizations with logging servers used for archiving logs according to company policy or compliance needs. SpamFilter language scoring allows customers to optionally add spam likelihood scores for specific languages. For companies who only receive email in one or two languages, this will be another tool for reducing unwanted email. “Our goal is to provide top-of-the-line security in a simple to use and cost-effective package,” said Patrick Walsh, eSoft’s Chief Technology Officer. “The DNS SoftPak is yet another eSoft product specifically intended to simplify the life of SMB network administrators.” Availability
The DNS SoftPak is available immediately for a small one-time fee. All other new features and bug fixes are available immediately at no cost to existing eSoft customers.
