eSoft Introduces ThreatMap and DIA! - A Breakthrough in SMB Security |
|
Curious where that recent Spam came from? How about that last Spyware? Are your competitors trying to sabotage you? eSoft's new ThreatMap provides detailed threat information about attacks that are hitting YOUR device by mapping the source location of each Spam, Spyware, Virus and Intrusion Attack onto a live Google® Map. Just hit the Spyware icon hovering over Bozeman, Montana to learn about the latest threats originating from that location! ThreatMap also allows comparison of how your network is faring versus ALL attacks happening across eSoft’s deployed architecture. ThreatMap comes standard on both the InstaGate and ThreatWall platforms, as a part of the new ThreatMonitor threat summary interface.
ThreatMap is a part of eSoft’s new Distributed Intelligence Architecture (DIA)… a powerful technology that adds higher levels of security intelligence, more powerful and detailed reporting, as well as ultra-rapid security updates to eSoft’s field-based security appliances. DIA leverages the patented SoftPak Director™ security infrastructure to create a dynamic, two-way communication channel between appliances and the SPD. Two primary benefits of DIA are 1) each security appliance will now receive customized reports* and mapping features that summarize threat activity and provide protection suggestions --particular to that appliance and network--, and 2) security appliances are now able to accept signature updates when needed, as opposed to when scheduled*, without introducing security risks.
