DIA leverages the patented SoftPak Director™ security infrastructure to create a dynamic, two-way communication channel between appliances and the SPD. Two primary benefits of DIA are 1) each security appliance will now receive customized reports* and mapping features that summarize threat activity and provide protection suggestions --particular to that appliance and network--, and 2) security appliances are now able to accept signature updates when needed, as opposed to when scheduled*, without introducing security risks.
