The Email ThreatPak scans all incoming and outgoing email for user-defined keywords and phrases embedded in the email body, as well as major attachment types and can then be configured to automatically reject, redirect, quarantine or tag and deliver filtered e-mails. To prevent unintended filtering, the Email ThreatPak allows creation of custom “white lists” of trusted senders, such as customers and business partners. The system also allows creation of custom lists of file types to be blocked or quarantined, such as .exe, .p2p, .asp, etc. Where most market solutions filter only SMTP traffic, eSoft scans all POP3 traffic, providing compliance monitoring and enforcement for hosted email services.
