New Security Features

eSoft introduced two new security features for the Instagate and Threatwall: Referrer Check and Auto-logout. Both are designed to prevent unauthorized access to the Administrator User Interface (UI).

Auto-logout insures a UI session is not left unattended. This security feature automatically closes your session if it is idle for more than 10 minutes. If you fail to properly logout of the UI, the next login attempt will receive a “Logged Out” message and an additional prompt for login credentials. You may increase the default Auto-logout time or disable the feature in the Advanced Administrator Settings.
