What is Virtual Twilight?
Virtual Twilight turns a daytime exterior photo into an evening scene. The sky becomes a twilight sky, interior and exterior lights appear switched on, and the whole image shifts to dusk tones. You get a twilight shot of the property without going back for an evening shoot.
Which Virtual Twilight product should I order?
Virtual Twilight AI Express: fully automated day-to-dusk conversion, built for cost-efficient, high-volume delivery. You get a realistic virtual twilight with a 1-hour turnaround. Images are delivered as generated, so the occasional AI artifact may appear. Best suited to teams that run their own QC before delivering to clients. Virtual Twilight Essential: the same realistic virtual twilight, with human QC on every image and adjustments as needed, so every batch arrives ready to pass to your agents. Choose from 9 style options Virtual Twilight Premium: specialist refinement for the strongest finishing, realism and production accountability in the range, with guaranteed daytime shadow removal and guaranteed, refined light spill.
Will it look like a real twilight, or just a darker daytime photo?
Your virtually converted day image will have a realistic-looking twilight feel. Esoft's specialist real estate AI model processes the whole frame, not just the sky, so the sky, the lighting and the overall tone change together.
Can small details change during the conversion?
Yes, and some of these changes are part of the product. The AI generates window views to give the image a realistic twilight feels. Where the interior is visible through a window, the AI generally preserves it. Where it is not visible, for example when the window shows only reflections, the AI generates a realistic interior view, which may not fully represent the actual interior. Occasionally, the AI may also alter small details around the property, such as exterior light fittings or additional windows. You may see these on Virtual Twilight AI Express. On Virtual Twilight Essential and Premium, they are removed during human QC before delivery.
Can I ask for changes after delivery?
Yes, on Virtual Twilight Essential and Premium. Revisions are included within the SLA of the product you ordered, such as brightness and warmth adjustments. Virtual Twilight AI Express does not include revisions. You can resubmit the image as a new AI Express order, but we cannot guarantee a better result. The more reliable route is to resubmit it as Essential, with human QC, or as Premium, which also guarantees daytime shadow removal.
Which photos work best, and what is not supported?
Best results: front or rear photos where the house is the main subject and fills most of the frame. Less reliable: elevated shots, photos where the house is partly hidden, and illustrations or renders. File type: Virtual Twilight AI Express needs edited JPG files. Virtual Twilight Essential and Premium also accept RAW, DNG and unedited photos, with pre-editing available at an extra cost. Not part of Virtual Twilight: interior, drone, city-view and night photos. Contact us for these.
Can I choose the sky or the style?
Both Virtual Twilight Essential and Premium let you choose from 9 style options, combining warmth (cool, neutral or warm) and brightness (dark, balanced or bright). Your style is set on your account and applies to every order, at no extra cost. Virtual Twilight Premium adds more detailed fine-tuning: you can adjust the window light tone and, as an option, choose a sky from our sky library or provide your own.
Can I use these images in a listing, and do I need to disclose the edit?
Yes. Disclosure rules differ by market, so check your local MLS or portal rules. Every Virtual Twilight order includes an Image Authenticity Notice by default, and an AI watermark option is available to help you meet disclosure requirements where they apply.
Do I own the delivered images?
Yes. The delivered images are yours to use for your listing and marketing for as long as you need them.
Is my data secure?
Virtual Twilight runs on an ISO/IEC 27001-certified, GDPR-compliant pipeline. Your images are processed under strict access controls to deliver your order, and are never sold or repurposed.
Do I need credits or a subscription?
No. There is no subscription, no upfront credit pack, and no minimum commitment. You pay only for the images you process.
