HR and Administration Manager

The job

As HR and Administration Manager, you will be overall responsible for our HR and Administration department in Hanoi, hereunder HR strategy, budget, recruitment, compensation & benefit policy, training, working environment, corporate social profile/brand, and with necessary key performance indicators (KPIs) around budget, recruitment, talent development, and retention.

We expect you to ensure continuous development and optimization of our organization to cope with an expanding organization as well as rising costs in Vietnam. Our growth is challenging our current set-up, and there is a need to continue to ensure a more flexible workforce, optimize workflows and professionalize systems to handle HR planning and management as well as refine our compensation and benefit model.

The major challenge is to optimize as we are growing at the same time, meaning that the platform is operating at a high pace and around the clock.

You will have the responsibility for 1 HR Supervisor and 8 staff responsible for our C&B, Labor Relation, Recruitment, Training, Corporate Communication and Administration in your direct management while a number of part-time receptionists (students) are attached to our administration. With the current growth of the company, it is expected that additional resources will be added just as the role and responsibilities of existing HR and Administration staff are being continuously adjusted also to ensure a broader knowledge base.

You will be representing the HR and Administration department in our weekly management meeting as well as our monthly strategy update meeting, supporting the collaboration across the entire company.

At the same time, you will be actively contributing to strengthening a performance culture and where “care”, one of our six core values, is in focus.

You will be driving the strategic goals for HR and Administration as well as overseeing daily operational activities to secure stability and efficiency in all steps of our HR and Administration workflow, and efficient communication channels with all staff groups.

Partnering with the Managing Director (Danish) and our senior management team, you will contribute to strategic decision-making and lead the execution of the company’s HR strategy and policies. Furthermore, will you be cooperating and coordinating with our group functions including HR and finance.

About you

We are looking for a person with a minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and Office management, and a successful track record in implementing and managing HR strategies and systems in large-scale international production-set ups.

Preferably, you have experience from either studying or working abroad, and being part of an international management team. You have excellent English skills and an international mindset.

You are business and result oriented, but at the same time possess great people skills. As a person, you have a strong and convincing personality and are able to lead by example and creating a feeling of belonging. We expect that you are an “international” person who is motivated by working with challenges across cultural barriers. Your leadership and management style is influenced by a western approach.

Furthermore, you have an interest in working with corporate social responsibility and are motivated by working with people from all walks of society.
